Pohnpei Swimming Club: Stretch for the Finish!
Pohnpei Swimming Club is located in Kolonia, Pohnpei and has been providing quality aquatics training since 2012. Equipped with a 6 lane 25-meter swimming pool, Pohnpei Swimming Club is producing high-performance athletes to compete internationally while also bringing up a new generation of young swimmers with a multi-dimensional Learn To Swim program.
Our Story
Pohnpei Swimming Club was founded in 2012 by swimming visionary Sweeter Daniel. Sweeter had been training elite-level athletes for international-level swimming competitions for many years, taking multiple teams to FINA World Championships events and the Olympic Games. By founding a quality swim program on the island of Pohnpei, FSM swimmers would have their own in-country training facility to prepare for these competitions as well as opportunities for the next generation of athletes to embrace the sport of swimming both competitively and recreationally.
